About this PDF Tools

Are files uploaded to a server?
No. Merging, splitting and rendering are all done by JavaScript libraries in your browser (pdf-lib, pdf.js); files stay on your device, and loaded features work even offline.
Is there a file size limit?
No hard limit, but browser memory is the constraint — keep individual files under 100MB; PDF-to-images renders at most 20 pages at a time to avoid long freezes.
Which formats can images-to-PDF take?
JPG, PNG, WebP and anything else the browser can decode. Non-standard formats like WebP and HEIC are first converted to JPEG locally, then embedded for better compatibility.
